Change to genus of Siberian Crane
بر اساس تغییر انجام شده در مورد رده بندی درناهای جهان، نام جنس گونه درنای سیبری از Grus به Leucogeranus تغییر یافته است. این تغییرها مورد تایید چندین چک لیست جهانی پرندگان جهان از قبیل Gill & Donsker (2019)، Clements et al. 2018، del Hoyo et al. (2014-2016)، John Boyd, TiF (2017)، Christidis et al. 2014 و HBW and BirdLife International (2018) قرار گرفته است.
لازم به یادآوری است که این جنس در دنیا یک گونه دارد و جنس تک سنخی محسوب می شود.
